  Material is extremely high quality, excellent gym bag and weekender. Main zipper is tough on first few uses but softens overtime and easier to open afterwards.

  I bought this to carry all my random battery powered gear on a flight and it was perfect. The size is super convenient. . small enough to fit anywhere and yet it holds a ton of stuff. Great quality too!

  The North Face Base Camp Duffel 31L is a compact powerhouse built with the same rugged materials as its larger siblings. I own the bigger sizes, but this 31L has become my go‑to for shorter trips and smaller excursions. The size is perfect: easy to carry, easy to pack, and never feels bulky. Despite its compact footprint, it swallows a surprising amount of gear thanks to its cylindrical shape and smart internal mesh pocket. The straps are comfortable, the zippers feel indestructible, and the water‑resistant fabric handles rough use without complaint. If you want a tough, reliable, grab‑and‑go duffel, this 31L hits the sweet spot.

  Best Gym Bag Ever

  I love this duffel bag. I originally bought it for the gym and I love that the material is so easy to clean, especially the inside. I take it to the pool and even if the towel and flip flops are wet, once I get home I simply wipe it with a dry towel and the bag is dry again. The size is perfect for carry-on on the plane as well. I had used it for many short trips and the shape of the bag helps to pack tones. You’ll be surprised how easily you can for clothes for 3-4 days in this bag. My family loves his duffel bag size so much that all 4 of us have one now. Highly recommended, I’ve gotten may compliments on this bag. I always trust the great quality of products from The North Face.

  Great size as a gym bag or weekend trip

  Great size as a gym bag or weekend trip. Material is durable and thick and won't soil if you spill liquid on it or use it in light rain. Note it's not entirely waterproof as the zippers aren't watertight. Two suggestions for improvement would be 1) have traditional duffel bag handles that meet in the middle instead of short handles on each side of the bag making carrying it feel off balance and 2) have a shoulder strap so you can wear it crossbody or over one shoulder that allows hands-free carrying while walking or commuting. This bag, to me, should be more appropriately called a backpack instead of a duffel bag.

  The bag is a bit stiff at first, otherwise it allows max flexibility for packing with no internal compartments. Appears stylish yet resilient for whatever use ideas you have for it.

  These are great bags, purchased this and the “rolling thunder”. Quality material, robust zippers. Great for travelling and transmitting through airports. True to size and exactly as pictured in the website. Am a repeat customer, definitely would recommend them for quality gear at a fair price.
