Hey Angie! According to Canada Goose’s website, both the Kensington and the Trillium have a wire in the hood.

It’s possible they are from different seasons or Canada Goose had tried the feature and decided to discontinue it.

I am 5’6 and bought mine for its warmer temperature rating. I am super disappointed to find that it is so short that my thighs are cold in it. I really wish they had added an extra few inches on – which it appears that the Kensington has, even though it is slightly less warm.
