The men’s Forge Hoody was designed for quick deployment on gusty alpine ridges, north-facing rock routes, and cold morning camp routines. This highly packable hoody is padded with super-warm 700-fill, RDS® certified down, which is DWR-treated for added weather resistance. The down-fill is protected with a 20D nylon ripstop shell and lining fabric, crafted for pliant mobility and lightweight performance. Black Diamond furnished the Forge with a climbing helmet-compatible hood for added coverage and gave it a durable YKK Flat Vislon front zipper. This hoody stows inside its chest pocket and clips to a harness or pack harness with an integrated carabiner clip loop.
