A lightweight version of our smallest messenger bag with the same Chrome toughness we build into every bag.

Taking a cue from the toughest weight class in boxing we built the Welterweight Mini Metro with lighter materials for a leaner, meaner version of our classic mini messenger bag. Engineered to withstand both the elements and the daily rigors of the urban environment, the Welterweight Mini Metro is a streamlined version of our smallest seat belt buckle messenger.

Lightweight Fabrics: The Welterweight collection brings some of the most advanced fabrics in our collection to our classic bag styles. The 500d nylon exterior and 400d tarpaulin lining clock in at less than half the weight of the materials used in our everyday Chrome bags. The reflective TPE panels are crafted from some of the most lightweight retroreflective material available. Light as a feather, still packs a punch.

Lightweight Aluminium Buckle: The seatbelt buckle has been an icon of Chrome bags since the beginning. What started as a plastic buckle cut from a car at the scrap yard turned into our super-tough (but heavy) steel buckle. After extensive testing, we developed an aluminum version of the buckle that is almost half the weight of the steel buckle while still retaining serious tensile strength.
