Our Origin

In 2011, employees Max and Alex acquired Altitude Sports, becoming majority owners.

“We’ve been longtime friends and roommates, bonded early on by our love for the outdoors and a shared obsession with technical apparel. At heart, we’re entrepreneurs. When we acquired Altitude Sports in 2011, our goal was simple: build a company by listening closely to our community and anticipating what people would need next.

We began by carrying well-known urbanwear brands, then quickly expanded into technical urban and outdoor apparel. Along the way, we saw two distinct communities emerge—city and nature—both driven by the same desire for comfort, performance, and thoughtful design. That shared mindset continues to shape everything we build at Altitude Sports today.”
