  I really like that the Merino 250 Balaclava covers the whole head. The quality is excellent, especially for the price. It’s soft, warm, and very comfortable to wear. I’d definitely recommend this merino option for anyone looking for a head-to-toe balaclava.

  Ultra comfy and warm even with moisture from breathing collecting

  It’s merino so even if it freezes Up and get damps from breathing through it in the Winnipeg cold it stays warm. Fit is great and it doesn’t hurt my nose like May of these do

  Wore on the weekend under my ski helmet. SO so happy with it! Very soft and comfortable, and not too tight which was what I was looking for. Can pull the face part up or down based on the covered. Can't say enough. Altitude Sports is rockin' it!!

  Warm, not itchy, does the job!

  Ok, so I have a tiny head and it does fit a bit large, but I washed and is now perfect. Probably a great fit for most folks. It does not itch, is warm, and fits under a helmet or baseball cap perfectly. For the price, very happy with my purchase.

  Quality soft pure merino wool

  This is a good weight to break the harsh wind and provide some warmth. The wool is soft pure merino and great at the price point this was offered. There is enough stretch that you can pull the face cover down under your chin.

  Warmth without bulk

  Lovely colour. Fits comfortably and when a hat and scarf are too bulky, or added layer of warm for those extra cold days. Ponytail hole in the back is nice touch.

  Runs a bit big but I put it in the washer and dryer and it shrunk to a perfect size! super warm and light

  Soft and warm

  The other reviewers were right that the lower half tends to fall down and expose the chin. However I see this as a positive since you don't always want to be covering the face if it's not that cold. The merino wool is delightfully soft, which is why I decided to keep it. I wear a warm headband over the balaclava and it helps keep the bottom part up when it's colder out. With the two I don't have to wear a tuque on my winter runs. I imagine it would be good for cold weather biking, too.
