  More versatile than expected

  I’ve been interested in these for a long time, and bought them primarily for walking during travel. They’re also surprisingly comfortable to run in. After several short outdoor (~10km) and treadmill sessions, they continue to provide all-day walking comfort.

  Wide forefoot with viciously narrow seam.

  They need to redesign this model. I am a huge fan of altra shoes. I own and love two pair. But they missed the mark with this model. The negated the wide forefoot with a tight fitting seam that down right hurts.

  These are by far the best shoes I've owned for the gym. They are very comfortable with their foot shaped design. Zero drop with the right amount of cushioning to allow you to really push through your lifts. They feel well made and good quality.

  Altra Solstice XT 3 Review -- Solstice has improved!!

  Some big improvements over the original Solstice: 1. More height in the toebox = even more comfortable than the original model; 2. It now fits true to size = no need to order 1/2 size larger. 3. It looks MUCH better than the original Solstice. Thank you Altra -- this is my go-to workout and raquet-sport shoe. And, it looks good enough to wear out on the town!
