    Roomy and Plush

    Nice and wide

    Been wearing Altra’s for years now. I’m usually a women’s 9. 5 but in the FWD Via 2, the women’s were a touch too narrow. I bought the men’s in an 8. 5 and they’re perfect.

    First Time buyer

    It's my first time buying a brand other than nike. I wanted a shoe that's comfortable for toes and these were recommended for wide toe box. Happy with the purchase. Calves needs some getting used almost no raise at the heels though.

    Altra FWD Via 2 Road Running Shoes

    This shoe is good for easy runs. Especially if your calves are sore. The toe box is slightly too small for my taste.

    Nice shape and and very soft

    Pros : Very comfortable step in. The overall shape is the best ever : wide everywhere, not only in the forefoot. Absolutely true to size. Con (for me): For a running shoe, I find that rhe midsole is too soft and doesn't have enough energy return. It, however, makes it very comfortable as a walking shoe. Also, I would have liked a bit more rocker at the front. They feel a bit "flat".

    Too tight in the mid

    Everything fine except it’s too tight in the midfoot. Sad because I loved the toes box space and the midsole

    Great low drop shoe

    Its a very good and comfortable shoe to wear for daily walks and runs, softer than v1 and more comfortable to wear for longer durations. The lower drop of 4mm definitely helps to reduce my knee pain which i get with any shoe with drops higher than 8mm. Highly recommend if you face knee pain and are relatively free of Achilles issues.
