The grip feels great, and these shoes are waterproof
I have been using Salomans for years, but got tired of the decline in quality and inconsistent fit. These are exactly what I've been looking for: wide toe box, extremely comfortable across terrains, waterproof, etc. They run true to size, and the fossil green is a lovely sage colour in person. I'm a women's size 10 (wide), and the men's 8 are perfect. They have been perfect on hikes and dog walks alike.
Purchased these shoes specifically for winter running, so I haven't had a chance to test them out on actual trails yet. My first impression is that they feel really comfortable right out of the box. There's just enough support and stability without feeling overly rigid, which is exactly what I was looking for. One thing to note: these definitely run big. I'd strongly recommend sizing down at least half a size from your usual fit. Once I make that swap, I expect they'll be perfect for the cold months ahead. Looking forward to putting them through their first real run when the weather calls for it.
Lots of room for toes. Had to return for a larger size as instep rather tight. I recommend at least half a size larger.
Open toe shoes that is well fit for hiking!
Had lone peak 7 but these are better and feel sturdy.
Vibram soles and Gore--tex liner. Huge improvement over the previous version. These features should be added to the high cut version
Nice shoes, enough room for toes. Unfortunately zero drop doesn’t work for me.
Preparing for a 4 day backpacking trip in Iceland in a few months. Break in period very comfortable, walked at the CNE for 7 hours and feet feel great. No soreness the next day. Toe box very spacious.
If you're looking at this product, you must know what it is supposed to be and it exactly that : zero drop, low stack, footshaped and waterproof. True to size. I recommend you get the same size you get for non gore-tex Atras. As I have not owned them for a long time, I can't comment on the durability.
