  Bon souliers pour courir l'hiver

  J’utilise ces souliers imperméables pour courir dehors l’hiver. J’utilise la même version non-imperméable en trail l’été. Ce modèle-ci est plus rigide que le modèle normal. Ceci dit, c’est parfait pour l’hiver, et les pieds restent au sec. C’est ma 2e paire hivernale, et je ne regrette pas.

  Great Shoe ,a bit sweaty

  Great alternative to boots

  I own many pairs of Altras already and love them for the zero drop and the roomy toe box which is great for wide feet. The waterproofing makes these shoes a good alternative to boots during shoulder seasons. They are light and don’t feel as stiff as many of the other gore-Tex shoes.

  So far, so good for walking in the cold

  I bought these for walking in the cold Saskatchewan winters. So far, I’ve walked for 30 minutes in -30 degree Celsius weather and they kept my feet warm.

  I like those shoes for running in the winter time. They keep my feet dry and have a roomy toe-box.

  My new winter dog-walking shoes A+

  I used to wear New Balance running shoes for running and walking my dog but heard about Altra via YouTube. I decided to order a pair of the 275’s and they fit perfectly out of the box. Size 11 - same size I am in every other running shoe. I wanted something waterproof so I wouldn’t have to wear my Keens as I found them causing some plantar fasciitis issues. So I saw a deal on the Lone Peak 9’s and ordered a pair of size 11. Once they arrived (took a week longer than expected but that’s the reality now that Canada Post can’t be trusted), I put the shoes on and immediately got on the treadmill and ran a 5K in them. They fit just as good as the 275’s. I’ve now turned them into my winter shoe and use them for everything - from running to dog walking to shopping. They work great. The fit is spot on with the exception of the area on top of the toe box. I find it creases during flex and puts pressure on the top of my foot. Fortunately I have flat feet and the fabric doesn’t make too much contact with the top of my foot. For someone with a larger foot volume I could see it being a concern. All in all, these are another great shoe for my wide feet. I’m adding more Altra’s to my collection.

  Good and fast service. It hasn’t been long but best shoes with big toe box. For me it’s the perfect fit, and wearing these I found that the shoes I was wearing are tight because hard to find wide shoes.
