L’étoffe Fortius™ Air 20 est légèrement résistante au vent et perméable à l’air, tandis que l’isolant respirant de l’Octa® Loft maintient un agréable microclimat. Un capuchon profil bas, ajusté et réglable, ne comporte pas d’isolant pour pouvoir être porté confortablement sous un casque sans compromettre ses propriétés coupe-vent. Doté de deux poches à glissière en maille extensible sur la poitrine et deux poches réchauffe-mains à glissière.

I'm a big fan of my Atom LT from Arc'teryx but I'd heard good things about the Proton, so gave the Proton FL a try. This one is definitely more breathable than the Atom - it's an awesome spring/shoulder season piece! I wore it on a hike at the end of February where it was in the plus temperatures but there was still snow on the ground, it kept me warm but I didn't overheat, plus blocked any wind nicely. I wear a medium or large in Arc'teryx generally, I bought the large and can layer. I will also add that the colour 'dark Illucinate' is more satured in real life than in the photo, I do like the colour more in person.

Proton FL Hoody Women

I had to replace 1 of my 3 Atom jackets (in Medium) from Arc’teryx and was looking for an alternative. Ordered this jacket in M and was disappointed did not fit the same, the material is different and made the garment feel less comfy than the Atom. I tried it on a few times, with different base layer but did not feel right. Finally returned it and ordered another Atom.
