Proton Hoody
I got 3 of these and all were loved by the recipient. Good as an underlayer and as a spring jacket. The large gave some extra room near the tummy. The recipients were 5'10 to 5'11 and around 165lb

The Proton FL is an excellent mid layer. I’ve come to prefer it over the Atom Lt for shoulder season outdoor activities. The 4 pockets are very useful and the jacket breathes very well. I usually wear it under a shell. The fit is definitely slim so if you’re between sizes then size up.
Just like almost every Arc'teryx piece I bough, the fit is exactly as I expected. That being said, I feel like over the years Arc'teryx is fit is less specific than it used to be. This piece is not articulated for overhead reach than my 4+ years old Proton LT. Like the Proton LT it is very tough and breathable. I wear it running and find it comfortable at 7c with the jacket unzipped. At -10c with a mid-weight base layer, it was getting cold. XC skiing at -5c to -10c was perfect. The fit was good for me at 5'9" and 165 lb with a climber build. Tall guys will probably find the sleeve a bit too short. The good is not insulated so you might need a toque. My only concern is that the insulation is literally breaking up. Instead of synthetic hollow fiber, it more like hair/needle which might feel a little weird next to the skin.
