  I was looking for a waterproof runner for inclement weather with a decent dread without being a trail runner which I find too harsh for the road. After my first run just to try them out I can see why this ASICS model is so popular. It has a good amount of tread without being harsh and the Goretex being laminated to the outer material you don’t even notice it unlike runners that have it as a separate lining. I like them so much I might try the non goretex model. Also at 324g for my size 12 is quite light given the solid build.

  They offer an excellent combination of comfort, cushioning, and responsiveness. The ride feels lively and bouncy, while the Gore-Tex upper keeps your feet dry and cozy in wet/cold conditions. The outsole provides better grip than the standard version, making these shoes a good option for winter running. Note that they are slightly heavier and warmer than the standard version.

  This is a quality waterproof shoe. It fits and runs just like the non GORE-TEX version. I was pleasantly surprised how flexible it was. Highly recommended.

  My first Asics

  I've been reading how popular the Novablast line is and decided my first try would be the Novablast 6 GTX since fall and winter running season is upon us. On my second run with them it rained heavily for several minutes but my feet remained dry. What more can I say? The fit was true to size and overall the shoe felt well-cushioned. Stability was good. I'm happy with the purchase.

  I love these Novablast 6 Gore-Tex shoes! Great on foot feel and fit, awesome cushion and moderate bounce energy return and fantastic traction on road or off road running. Really love the rugged sporty orange yellow colorway. Fits true to size snug fit for medium to narrow footers and might need to half size up for wide footers. Overall it's an awesome shoes, can't wait to test them on the winter snowy conditions.
