  this is a second purchase of a barbout dog coat. though the first ( purchased several years ago) is thinning in the outer covering, it is still fine. These are great coats. The x-large fits my mastiff beautifully and now our shepherd-boxer mix has inherited the old one because his carharrt coat of the same age has completley disintegrated velcro. I highly recommend

  Stylish and easy to put on

  Love this! It slips on my dog very easily with the velcro collar and strap. Size small fits perfectly on my 18-pound schnauzer mix and it keeps her warm on cool days, and keeps her dry in light rain. It's also easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. The only issue is that it would sometimes slide to one side, but I was able to fix that by tightening the buckle.

  Barbour dog coat

  Woollie loves his new lightweight Barbour rain coat and looks very fetching. It is thinner than expected but actually gives the dog more movement. It’s nicely made, stays in place and works very well in wet weather. It runs a little small, though. We bought the large for a 50 lb doodle and it could be at least 4 inches longer.

  I can review the brand, Barbour. I can’t review the jacket itself as I never received it. But this is a great brand, good quality and durable, so you can’t really go wrong with any of their products :)

  Great little coat

  Perfect for my smaller lab. (I ordered large) Perhaps thinner than expected but he loves it for the colder days. So far the Velcro has held out even in the deep snow.

  We also have the waxed coat which I reviewed separately. This quilted coat is just as well made and has the benefit of being just a little bit warmer than the waxed version. It has a nice brushed lining for added comfort. It’s very easy to fit to the dog with one Velcro fold under the chin and one strap under the belly. The coat stays in place and looks great!
