We do a lot of camping/kayak tripping/car travel/outdoor sports, and have one of these for each of my family. They’re great, but unless you find it on sale (they do go on sale), it’s hard to justify the price. Pros: - a strong aluminum frame design that resembles a tent more than it does a chair - elastic lines inside the frame keeps things together and makes it easy to assemble / take apart - doesn’t have plastic joints that can break / wear down over time - the seat sits higher than most other collapsible chairs - high back - comfortable - high weight capacity Cons: - doesn’t pack as small as a chair designed for lightweight travel - as long as you’re not ultralight backpacking, it’s not a major issue - and if you are, you’re not likely bringing a chair with you - isn’t as lightweight as some Helinox options - it takes more time to set up and take down than some other chair options - no built in place to store the bag it’s packed in when you’re using the chair (without taking up a cup holder) - lack of accessories vs. Helinox
excellent chaise légère et confortable
