Took a little bit of time to figure out the fan and re-fueling of wood to avoid it from getting too smokey, but once you get the hang of it, it's a great little unit! Adding wood with the grill on was super easy and the fire lit very quickly with the starter. Looking forward to taking it out camping.
I got this kit for bushcraft trips where I’m always trying to keep my pack as light as possible. It’s a bit bulky, but totally worth it since you don’t need a power bank to charge your phone, GPS, or headlamp—and you don’t have to carry stove fuel either. In the end, you actually save weight and don’t have to rely on anything extra for longer trips. It’s not the fastest for boiling water or cooking, but once the fire’s going it’s super reliable and efficient. Charging is on the slow side—it took about 6 hours to fully charge my iPhone 13. Haven’t tried the grill yet, but it looks solid.
This kit can solve many problems of camping even car camping with after hours problems of no fuel and wet campfire wood. The bright plastics techie stuff are off putting to those who are seeking a woodland basics experience, evoking derision
Absolutely love BioLite products , in fact bought 2 of these , highly recommend, for people looking for out door wood/charcoal/pellets stove ,. It is packable and yes it built well ,.
I would buy this in a heart beat. It is a great product. Well thought out. Works great. The grill and Kettle are just solid. I would recommend this to everyone.
The grill works very well. The air pump unit push the air to the wood pellets container, it burns nicely. The unit itself is entertaining. What I hate most (like most grills) is the cleaning.
