  These boots were true to size. Had I gone one size bigger, as I sometimes do with winter boots, I would be flipflopping in them. Yes, they are snug to get in and out of. I have worn them half a dozen times already and it gets easier to slip into due to some expansion. However, I don't have a wide foot nor a high dorsum (top surface of the foot). Therefore, if you have a high dorsum, wide foot, thick ankles or stumpy legs, this boot is definitely not for you. Hence, the only reason why I gave them a 4 star rating instead of 5. Very good quality materials, snug and warm. Wore them in -38C this weekend in Montreal. Very good grip in the snow, snug and sturdy. Love the wide undersole which is great for balance, nevertheless looking fashionable. Ideal if you are looking for a low warm boot that is stylish and top quality. Excellent, if you drive a standard car without tripping over any of the 3 pedals without intention. This happens, when I wear my higher bulkier boots. Easy to walk around comfortably indoors, such as a shopping center, without feeling as if you are wearing floppy bulky clogs. Enjoy !

  Très belle botte de quallité, cependant le design est un peu large. Ça gâche un peu le look. Sinon beau produit.

  Bottes imperméable et chaude, parfait pour l’hiver à Montréal. J’aime beaucoup la construction style Néoprène des Bogs. Le seul bémol est que l’entrée du pieds est difficile même avec les lacets complètement détachés mais ça reste très confortable une fois dedans. Je recommande ces bottes.

  Arcata Urban Lace Winter Boots - Men's.

  I had been looking for new (more stylish) winter boots to complement my original Bogs for about 3 years. I finally landed on these and I am not disappointed. They are warm enough for Ice fishing offer excellent grip on fresh ice, (I coach hockey and often need to walk across a fresh ice rink) but are still comfortable enough to walk around a mall. They are not the easiest to get on but as I break them in it's getting easier.
