Thrifty solution
Keeps the wind/cold away without the extra bulk. The cleats’ opening was slightly narrower than expected, so may need to cut out a small amount of fabric for a better fit over the bottom opening (for reference, I wear Shimano RC3) but maybe fine as is, too. Good hack.
