  Conviendra à tout cycliste

  Je fais du vélo de route et il m’importe de connaître ma cadence. De base, ce cyclo offre cette fonction. Lisibilité excellente, on passe d’un écran à l’autre en un simple clic, ce qui importe à grande vitesse. L’installation sur tout type sera possible, mon cadre et ma potence sont de formes inhabituelles et tout s’est fait sans complication. La programmation en km/h et pour une roue 700X23 est déjà faite, mais j’ai trouvé le pairage entre le récepteur et les deux émetteurs un peu compliqué (il faut bien décoder les icônes du feuillet-guide). Sinon, excellent produit!

  Overall a recommended cycle computer

  As background I am a 67-year-old male novice road cyclist. Unlike other reviews, I found attaching the CatEye Cyclocomputer to my road bike to be fiddly – granted I am not mechanically minded. I downloaded the Padrone Digital Quick Start App and I used this with the paper-copy instruction sheet, both of which were slightly confusing. The instruction movies in the App did not work on my iPhone so I had to go straight to YouTube to view the videos – which were very useful and helped me more than the manuals. I also downloaded the CatEye Cycling App to help pair the Cyclocomputer to the Cadence and Speed sensors. Initially I had difficulty pairing the sensors then all of a sudden, they started working – not quite sure what I did – there again I am a tech-Luddite! All of this sounds negative, however when I started using the cyclocomputer on a ride, I found the device was great – big screen and large numbers made seeing cadence, time, speed, and distance very easy during my rides. So, I am glad that I persevered with setting up the computer to enjoy its functionality while riding. Despite my difficulty with set-up (other people may not find this to be the case) I still recommend this device.
