I had been looking at the chawel for a while. I’ve been using PakTowels (which are are great) but limited to use as a towel. I like that the chawel makes changing anywhere more convenient and it's also comfy/cozy as a blanket or just to wear around…though not very stylish :) It does take up more space than a Paktowel…but it has more uses.
Loved the idea of versatility, great for camping and travel. Hood and arm holes make it surper convenient to use as a cape or cover, but it is also nice as a sleeping bag liner or light "sleeping bag" if it's warm. Neck pillow version is awesome, too, tried it on a car trip. . Haven't used it as a towel, but hope it will stand up to its reputation.
C’est bien pour se changer sur la plage ou pour s’étendre, mais comme serviette un peu moins ce n’est pas très absorbant. Tout de même une bonne idée.
Bien que cette serviette prend plus d'espace qu'une simple serviette en microfibre, elle est bcp plus utile. Elle absrobe très bien, et sèche rapidement. Ma conjointe l'utilise pour se changer lorsque nous sommes avec d'autres monde, sert de couverte pour les soirées plus fraiche autour du feu, de serviette de plage et meme d'oreiller. Je recommande!
I initially purchased this for its function as a portable changing room. Thought it was a fantastic idea and then noticed the other functions (towel, blanket, neck pillow, sleeping bag) which are bonuses. I haven't used it yet for these purposes, but know that it will really come in handy. It packs up nice and compact, great to have in the car. The material is thinner than I thought it would be, but guess it would be much bulkier if it was thicker. What a great idea Chawel came up with!
Très heureuse de mon achat ! Tissu léger, fait assez grand, facilement transportable, cette serviette se glisse aisément dans un sac à dos et elle peut avoir plusieurs utilité. Parfait pour le backpacking.
I used the chawel to dry myself off, change my clothes, and warm up in. As a change room, I was able to change all my clothes right in front of someone while having a conversation. It dries quickly too. Love it!
This is a super idea.. I have not used it yet, but tried it out for size and use.. it’s a well made useful towel/change room/ extra warmth and a neck pillow all in one . I am doing an 8 day rafting adventure next May. So I believe it will be well worth it’s multiple uses! It’s not a huge item to carry at all. It’s very packable. I bought 3 more as gifts.
This outdoor towel is great for camping, swimming, the beach, and any outdoor activities. It is fast dry and of good quality.
This is a great towel that I bought for my husband after he liked my son's chawel jr so much. It is very practical with the zipped pocket and hood. It is on the long side though. If you are walking down stairs you need to be careful. One way to address the length is to take some of the towel fabric and push through the eleastic tie loop. It works for my son's towel as well as my husband's towel. My husband really likes it and he thinks it’s like something from Star Wars.
