  We buy these every year for our kids as they outgrow their last ones. Great sun protection, and much more breathable than a rash guard. Kids love having an alternative to slathering on sunscreen

  It’s our second sandy shores sunguard shirt, it offers great protection against the sun, we bought it to protect my son’s skin on mountain hikes where there’s no or little tree cover. A wide brim hat and a sun shirt offers great protection against sun burn and heat stroke. The shirt fits him well, and is well made. My son thinks the thump holes are cool, I think the offer a protection for his hands.
