  These did take about 30km

  These did take about 30km of hiking for me to feel comfortable with them. The longest hike I’ve been on is 15km but I definitely like them. I bought these particular boots as they were able to be recrafted which will be the real test. They are sharp looking and have what I consider to be a bit of a retro look with the tan leather and red laces. Yes, I would recommend.

  Awesome boots

  I bought these for my father. I have the same pair, but not the waterproof version. They are stylish and very comfortable. I wear size 10 sneakers and these boots size 10. Lots of room in toebox. Grippy soles. Zero breakin required

  I ran into a lot of people on my backpecking trip last summer. I was interested in other hikers' shoes because the shoes I was wearing were a little uncomfortable. A lot of hikers became interested in wearing this brand. I already knew the history and tradition of the brand, but I thought it was expensive. I bought the shoes at the end of the sale, and I'm so satisfied. It's not too hard, it's not too soft, and it's moderately heavy. It will help with the stability of the ankles or knees of long-distance hikers.

  Great boot but….

  Felt great on every area except near one of the eyelets. Rather than being cut in a straight line it kind of angled leading to a rounded corner. This just happened to hit my ankle when I secured the boot and was noticeable. Otherwise the boot was great - roomy toe box, good grip and support and pretty stylish. I wanted them to work for me so a little bummed they couldn’t
