  Great Pack

  10/10/26

This was my first ever Deuter purchase and I've been really impressed with it. I wasn't sure if my 30L Gregory Zulu would be big enough for our 8 day hut to hut hike in the Spanish and French Pyrenees, so I was looking for something just a little bigger. This was extremely comfortable and has a nice selection of pockets to organize our clothing and other gear so it was all easy to access. I might have been able to stuff everything in my 30L, but you can never have too many packs, right?

  Pas pour moi

On voit la qualité de ce sac, Il est à la hauteur de sa réputation. Mais moi, je le trouve trop loin du dos, à mon goût. Je l'ai retourné.

  Perfect size!

This pack is the perfect size for me to take on the Camino walk in October. It fits me perfectly after adjustments of straps. Very comfortable to wear and I have been training with it on and full and it has great ventilation to avoid a sweaty back!

  Futura Pro Hiking Backpack 36L - Men's

  06/04/25

I have a 30L Deuter hiking back pack that I used as a day pack for many years, and was happy with. I bought the Future Pro 36L for a week long hut to hut hike in Europe. The Futura Pro gives me the extra space I needed, and some nice features to better organize gear, accommodate phones etc. It was a reasonable cost, looks great, feels stable and comfortable on my test hikes, and I think it will work well for the Europe trek.

Great bag. But not for me.

This is almost the perfect short trek pack - enough pockets, versatile, sits well and balanced once adjusted. Only issue is there’s no way to access main compartment without opening the entire bag up. There is the option to access from the bottom but if this is stuffed full with either your sleeping bag or dirty clothes, it’s quite a frustration.
