So, I marked these as running true to size because I actually have no idea…my waist is 24 inches & hips are 351/2 inches. I bought 29, because I wanted a super roomy fit in my legs & around my hips…like Kathryn Hepburn pants from the 30’s & 40’s. I’ve taken them to my tailor to doctor…but I couldn’t resist & wore them as is with a belt…sooo good. The denim is quite soft, but still substantial in weight.
