  I experimented with many types of mats. Used my Thermarests for over 20 years, and still like new, BUT too narrow, thin, and slippery. Generic inflatable mats are actually pretty good and cheap, but for cold nights in the tent, are a no-go. This mat looks very well made and as comfortable as a regular mattress and is light, inflates well, etc. BUT, it's huge when rolled up. While my motorcycle is very large (moto-camping), it's taking as much space as my tent + sleeping bag + old mat combined!

  Exped Mega Mattress

  Being in my 60's and making a return to camping after a 9 year hiatus I knew my old sleep pad wouldn't cut it for comfort. I bought the Exped on the recommendation of someone I knew. It took 2 nights of sleeping to get the amount of inflation that suited my back, but when I did the pad didn't disappoint. Extremely comfortable, and worth every penny. I would recommend watching the video on how to inflate, and deflate, and roll the pad for storage. Shipping from Altitude was extremely fast, so wouldn't hesitate to purchase online again

  Pour une nuit comme à l’hôtel ! Ce matelas est confortable, avec une longueur et une largeur bien pensées pour dormir sans se sentir à l’étroit. Le niveau de confort est réellement surprenant pour un matelas gonflable. La pompe est facile à utiliser et le matelas se range rapidement dans son sac de compression inclus. Une fois rangé, il est relativement léger et compact, ce qui le rend pratique pour le camping ou les escapades de quelques jours.

  So comfy. Love the extra space, able to roll around at night and you don’t fall off the sides. Feels like a foam mattress.

  I really like this. It's comfortable, seems very well made, the bag is great and it's easy to get the mat back into the bag, and it's easy to inflate. I chose this over the Therm-A-Rest MondoKing because it's NOT made in the USA and Exped is NOT an American company.

  Exped vs Thermarest

  I was very happy with my Thermarest until I bought the Exped. It’s better in every way. I followed the instructions (RTFM) and inflated it fully at home for a day before using it for the first time. The included pump is so much better than those fiddly pump bags. The Exped is easier to pack away too. Buy it.

  Haven’t used it camping yet but was able to inflate and test it out. Seems to be very comfy and easy to use. Looking forward to not dreading sleeping while camping.

  Nous avons acheté deux mégamat pour un séjour de 14 nuits en tente. Vraiment très confortable pour dormir, tant sur le côté que sur le dos.
