  Pretty Good Briefcase

  The good news first: this briefcase is attractive and deceptively large. I can pack a whole heap of stuff into it, and still find room for more. Case in point, I’m able to fit my laptop (MacBook Air, but there’s plenty of room left for a larger machine), power cord and adapter, 2L tech kit, 1L pouch, and a pair of shoes in the main compartment alone, with room to spare for a few other things. Then there are the two external pockets, where you can fit more stuff in. I knocked a star off the review, though, for a few reasons. First, it is very expensive, and it’s not clear that Filson quality is what it once was. I have no older 24-hour briefcase to compare it to, but I was surprised at how slack the tin cloth feels compared to other waxed canvas bags that I have, and even compared to the Filson short lined cruiser. (Presumably, it’s a thinner fabric. ) Also, the zippers are preposterously large, making them hard to open and close, and liable to scratch things as you put them in or take them out. Those criticisms aside, I’m pretty happy with it so far.

  Love this bag. The tin cloth feels amazing. It's very roomy and the exterior pockets add to the convenience of carry.

  Fan of the colour and tin cloth. Great case which seems very durable. Filson is a well established brand.

  Great bag for 1-2 days work trip along with laptop etc. holds more weight than you can imagine. Rugged and chic looks.

  This is my second version of this product, and this olive green colour is fantastic in person - much nicer than the tan I had previously. Previous bag had to be exchanged due to a stitching fault - hopefully this one lasts.
