a fantastic aesthetic, build quality and size. The whisky colour that I got & general look of the briefcase fits very well in work setting as well as casual settings; the build seems really quite sturdy yet light (not flimsy); and I can easily fit my nalgene 1L bottle here along with other documents and my ipad. I had been waiting for this bag to go on sale for a while before purchasing, and I’m so glad that I did.
Those who know and use Filson products know how strong their products are. Hats, clothes, belts, bags… you get that confidence of « getting the best ». This one has a very appealing price for a Filson product but I am not sure about its thoughness and we will see overtime it is certainly lighter than other Filson bags as nylon made, has a good compartimentalized design, shoulder and hand straps are very comfortable for more than 20 min walk. I easily carry (daily) laptop, notebooks, electronic accessories, umbrella ,coffe mug, lunch box, sunglasses and a light rain jacket every time I take it I got a thought : missing a bit of strength to be a Filson
I got this for my partner and he says its perfect for his work commute.
I used to own the Canvas version of Filson bag which was too heavy to carry around. This one is way lighter than that and looks great!

Our son was soon graduating and we were so proud of him and wanted to give him his choice of a briefcase. He just loves the Dryden briefcase - it cleverly has a secure laptop insert as well as two external pouches for all the extra gear - keeping bulky items in these pouches on the outside of the main flat section of the briefcase is a brilliant design specification and found in no other briefcase - genius!
Filson makes everything right. This bag is perfect for the every day use - it is quite big, but that makes me love it even more. Strong zippers and strong water resistant material, looks like it will last forever.
It feels like a cheap nylon briefcase with a couple leather tassels, good zippers and no shoulder pad. I expect a lot more for the money.
