Love this coat!!
Perfect coat for me! Used the Greenland wax on it and it’s good to go in all kinds of weather! Already took it on mini hikes in the Rockies and it did great. Warm, wind had no chance of making me cold! It does run big, I’m usually a large in Fjallraven but I sized down to a medium and it was good to go for layering if needed.

Great mid winter coat
Things I love about it: the classic/ vintage styling, warm yet light weight, tough outer fabric, deep hood that keeps wind off your face, colour. Things that could be improved: A-line cut of the coat allows cold draft up the front - a wind dam or straighter cut would help. Sleeves need a knit cuff again, to keep out drafts.
It's a great coat for those winter days of less than -10C but I did need a sweater underneath. Stylish enough for town and rugged enough for hiking.
I'm usually a small but also ordered xsmall after reading reviews. The xsmall fit closer in the body which I preferred but, shoulders were snug and sleeves too short. The small fit better in those two areas but a bit generous in the torso. For reference I'm a slim build, 5'9'' and 128 lbs. I picked this up on sale and felt the value was there. I would not pay full price.

Good parka
I’m usually a size small but put on a little weight lately so bought a small as I heard this coat fits big. It does fit big and the only downside is that the big fit means I can feel the breeze coming in from the bottom. But the good thing about a bigger fit is that I can put layers on. I love the look of this coat and hope it’ll last me for years. I have worn this coat in -28C and it keeps me warm. The timeless look and the warmth make this coat perfect.

Had Potential
I received the Greenland No.1 Down Parka but sent it back. There was definitely potential, but it wasn't for me. It was SUPER lightweight, and the tag indicated min 95% goose down, which is hard to find these days. It didn't say the fill-power though, so I'm still curious about that. The leather trim on the cuffs and hood was very stiff. Maybe it would soften over time, but it was very uncomfortable. My biggest problem was the fit. I ordered a small, but it was still way too big. I'm usually between a small and a medium. I'm afraid though if I tried a size down, the sleeves would be too short - and I'm not tall - 5'5". The zipper was also a little finicky - each time I tried to zip, I struggled with it. Overall was okay, but there were enough little problems that I didn't think it was worth the price.

Greenland - Size XS
This jacket is great. I love how simple and minimalistic it is. The lightness and warmness is perfect.
I am still curious to see how it will hold for temperature colder than -15 C. There will be room for a thicker wool sweater or a fleece layer for the colder days, I suppose. The cut of the jacket is loose ( in my opinion, not true to size that I am used to normally). I first ordered a small one but it was HUGE on me, especially in the chest area. I don't consider myself to be on the petite frame and the small was way too big. (I am 145 pounds, 5'-6", 34C on the chest & 29" at the waist, just to give an idea)
The waist pockets are comfortable with some soft fleece inside. I love the leather bands around the sleeves and the hood.
I can see myself wearing this jacket for many years to come, thanks to the simple style that is timeless.

FJALLRAVEN GREENLAND n.1
Il amazing parka!!! Remember: fits big, consider to get down to 1-2 sizes. We bought XS and S and kept the first one. Light, warm, protective and amazing quality look for the Swedish brand. Love the fox !

Warm but large!
Size down this parka is huge. Hood has no draw string so no way of securing the hood

Great fit for taller women and very warm
I am 5’9 and have an athletic build which means it’s so hard to find a jacket that fits. Usually I have to go a size larger to get the sleeve length and then the jacket ends up being huge on me. This jacket has sleeves that actually fit and is crazy warm! I’m finally not freezing. Great purchase
