    Solid product

I have used this product over the years for sealing the seams of various tent flys that had started leaking and it has always been helpful. Once it hardens it is durable and waterproof and adds utility to tents that would otherwise be near the end of their days.

    Works like a charm

An Irish charm. I’d recommend this.

GEAR AID Seam Grip – A Trusty Fix That Holds Up

There’s nothing glamorous about seam sealer—but when you need it, you really need it. GEAR AID’s Seam Grip is one of those low-profile tools that quietly earns your trust. I’ve used it on tent floors, rain gear, and even older backpack seams, and it’s consistently done the job. Application is straightforward—clean, apply, let it cure—and once it’s set, it’s rock solid. Flexible, waterproof, and durable. You can feel the difference in the seam after it’s cured—there’s just a bit more confidence when the weather turns or when gear gets pushed a little harder than expected. What I appreciate most is that it extends the life of the gear I’ve come to rely on. Rather than replacing something, Seam Grip gives it another chapter. That’s not just useful—it’s sustainable. If you’re someone who travels light, trusts your gear, and wants to keep things going as long as possible, Seam Grip is worth having close by. It’s one of those things you don’t think much about—until it saves the day.

    Repaired two pads

Helped me repair two pads that the patches provided with my pads could not fix. Even the tricky repair along the seam. Absolutely worth it to save a couple hundred dollar pads.

    Great product

This product is terrific to seal up any little tears on fabric. Used it on a sleeping pad and a tarp and it did the trick. Highly recommend!

    Use this to waterproof seams!

Don’t go camping without it. Works great to seal seams on tents and also other things like coats shoes etc. Must have in your drawer.

Have yet to see how it withstands weather

    Prolongs my Gear

I have a Gore-Tex rain jacket that is roughly 10 years old. As many know, these don't come cheap. It's treated me well over the years but almost all of the sealed seems were starting to dry out and peel away. This product worked well to glue them back together and give me more time with the jacket, keeping money in my pocket.

Bring new life to an old tent/fly

Our Marmot Limelight is six years old, and only just starting to show its age, with some of the taped seams starting to release and peel. Seam Grips is a great solution to this problem, to breath new life into the fly by waterproofing the seams for many years to come.
