  Really wanted to like and expected quality backed by the British brand. Unfortunately, it did not stand up. The sweater was long and big (med), didn’t feel like it would keep its shape and the button holes were unfinished so looked like holes. And then, we found an actual hole by the sleeve cuff. Super grateful for Altitude’s quick return process. Will keep searching for the perfect shawl cardigan for my partner.

  Great for winter

  Really beautiful, thick and warm shawl collar cardigan perfect for the Atlantic winters; made in the UK. I am 6 ft 2, 205 lbs, and ordered a large, and found it hit fairly low (more than 1/2 way down bum). Some might appreciate this style but I found it too big so would order down on future orders for a more fitted size.

  In principle, this is a high-quality item. However, it is humongous (the M fits like an XL) and the unfinished buttons are impossible to use as the buttons get caught up in the yarn. I was hoping for more.

  Wanted better

  Really wanted to like this sweater. Problem is the finishing is lacking. Button holes are finished without any stitching so the buttons get caught on the yarn and you need to carefully free each one. Sweater I received already had loose yarn pulled out at the shoulder and I could see this happening again. Fit is very sloppy, beyond the usual casual loose fit of a classic cardigan. Covered my butt and front pockets are very thick and stick out noticeably. On the plus side it is very soft and comfortable to wear. While I like the heritage brand, just wasn’t worth keeping.
