  Such a great deal for quality light weight and foldable carbon steel. There's no more excuse to use a toxic non-stick coated pan even when camping.

  Carbon steel is the way

  I've been looking for a pan for canoe camping that I could use on open fires (nothing with a coathing) that wasn't as heavy as cast iron and wouldn't burn things like stainless and aluminium. After a lot of research I settled on this. I haven't used it yet but this was the best carbon steel option for the price and it looks like it'll be exactly what I need. Lack of instructions for seasoning but it should do exactly what I need it to do and the handle is fully removable so I can stack the rest of my kit in it. Look into carbon steel and you'll likely be convinced, depending on your needs.

  Folds well but lacks locking mechanism while compact

  This is a sturdy pan when in use, but it's a bit flimsy when folded up. There's no locking mechanism to keep the handle tucked away while it's compacted, so it's a bit finnicky. Other than that it's pretty nice

  Great quality camping pan

  It’s not lightweight but I mostly car camp and value quality, all my other camping pans have warped and been junk — so far this one has held up great.

  A bit big

  Bigger than I realized, should have read the sizing details better. Would be a good pan for car camping or for canoe/kayak camping, but a bit too big for backpacking

  A lighter alternative to cast iron

  Excellent pan. Does not come seasoned, so be sure to do this before first using. Great for searing, maintains heat better than non-stick but not as long as cast iron, so better for temp control. Handle is a little flimsy, but manageable.
