Good solid easy to clean stove.

Good, reliable simple. This stove seems to be a white-label product, so if you can find a similar one for a cheaper price on sale, go for that as they are interchangeable.

Love the colour 🟠 decent design, no issues with the igniter so far, but always carry a back up ignition source.

  Poêle GSI 540

2e poêle GSI 540 reçu, les allumeurs ne fonctionnent pas malgré qu’ils soient neufs. Exactement le même problème que le premier.

  Great value for the price

  05/23/25

Unbeatable value for the price. But I agree with other reviews that the quality of construction could be improved - the plastic latch mechanism holding the stove closed isn't ideal, and I fear it could great easily. Also the edge of the carrying handle is sharp. Not deal breakers, but worthwhile to note.

  Stove failed on second trip

  09/09/24

Update to my other review below with concerns over the threaded adaptor piece. I owned this stove for under a year and only managed to do two car camping trips. My initial concerns of the propane hose adaptor piece being poor quality were legit, as it failed on the second camping trip. The unit no longer threads into the stove and cannot be used anymore. I purchased a replacement adaptor and it also doesn't work, so the threads are likely damaged from the piece within the stove itself. Highly disappointed. This stove wasn't crazy expensive or anything but it is much more pricey than the cheap Canadian tire Coleman stove I had working for 10+ years and hundreds of camping trips. I am hoping to return the item via altitude sports.

  Very good car camping stove

  08/16/24

This is a very good stove that boils water quickly and has fine temperature control. The only complaint is the igniter isn’t extremely functional and it is better to light with a lighter to save gas.
