  Shockingly light!

  I have worn these out into the forest once already and they fit great, feel surprisingly light and feel like I won’t have to ‘break them in’ at all! Love the colour way!

  Perfect Hike and Work boot

  For heavy packs and long days with heavy loaded bags, these are the best boots. A little slow to break in but then perfection. Stiffer sole than any other boot I have tried - exactly what I was looking for. I have not yet needed to resole but glad to know I can. Keep my feet very dry - never had an issue. Fit true to my usual Euro size.

  J’ai utilisé mes nouvelles bottes Alaska GTX pour de la randonnée lors d’un voyage récent à Terre Neuve. Confortables dès la première utilisation! J'ai suivi les conseils sur les avis et ai acheté la grandeur 9 1/2 (habituellement je chausse du 9) et elles sont parfaites. Faciles à enfiler et lacer pour un ajustement adapté. Très satisfaite!

  Sturdy boot for rough terrain

  Purchased these boots for use with a heavy pack and have done the job excellently. They do take a bit of time to break in and flex well due to the rigid sole. Fit is medium to narrow. Run about a 1/2 size small. Expect to have for many years to come.

  Very nice boots! They run a little small and have a narrow toe box, had to exchange for . 5 size up from what I have purchased in this brand previously.

  Good but to heavy

  The fit was nice and I could see the quality of the boots but I found them really heavy. I wouldn't want to wear these on a multiple days treck. I had to returned them.

  Great boots!

  These hiking boots exceeded my expectations! Incredibly comfortable with a high-quality feel, beautiful design and color, super sturdy build. Compared to other women's boots, the higher ankle design is a plus for me!! They feel incredibly supportive and comfortable, and their sturdy design will be great for carrying heavy loads on multiday hikes. The resolable feature is also a huge plus for me- love that I can look forward to using them for years to come. Excited to take these into the mountains!

  Greatest comfortable and durable hiking boots.

  I have own Han Wag Alaska GTX since 2018. I bought them for tree planting which, for ones who knows, is the ultimate test for boot comfort and durability. Since day 1 they were super confortable. The gore-tex membrane keep you dry. The stiff sole protect your ankles, and help you support the weight if you are wearing a backpack. I have maintain the leather thoroughly by washing the dirt of and applying grease on them. The sole lasted more than a 100 days of intense bush walking. You can re-sole them. They are absolutely fabulous. The 2018 one are getting caulks at the shoe repair and I am buying a brand new pair to do my season + hiking in the mountain. Strongly recommend.
