Great high protein meal
We bought this for backcountry camping. The portion is more realistically for one adult especially after a hiking trip. But nonetheless we love the high protein content.

I do like the happy yak products, especially because they’re Canadian. This was super tasty, but it seems that most dehydrated foods never get quite cooked enough for me. Not just happy yak, but any I have tried to date. That being said, the flavours were very good, nice and saucy, and I would get again, but probably cook for a bit so it’s a bit softer. This package runs on the meagre side in terms of calories (300) so if I had an especially long day backpacking, I would want two of these for dinner. I added the happy yak freeze dried chicken to my meal to bring up the nutrition and calories. Perfect.
