I was looking for a lightweight hiker for travel and hiking and hoped this would be it. I used the Hoka transport low version for travel in the past and they worked great. I wasn’t a fan of the tan colour variation and style of this mid-height model. The fit felt like an oversized basketball shoe. Wasn’t what I was looking for. Might work for someone else.

Bought this for. my wife and she loves it.
I love my transport and my Hoka hiking shoes and now they are one. I originally bought my transport shoes for light hikes but they have zero grip. Problem solved with these shoes. My Hoka hiking shoes have the ultimate grip for steep and ravelling slopes so now I have it all.
the base is really wide and I am concerned that it would cause me to trip over my own feet so I returned.

These were a great pick to order for my wife for dog walking boots this winter. Lightweight, great traction, waterproof and kind of cute actually. The only problem is she can't wear them because the architecture of the tongue creates a ridiculous rub point on top of her right foot. We've tried everything to get it sorted but it's just a crappy design. Where the material folds under the laces and is connected to the tongue is a very hard material that causes irritation.
These do exactly what they say they do! Perfect for a walk or hike outside in wet, slushy weather.

Be careful when selecting your size. I am a loyal Hoka fan and have always been a solid size Women's 6 no matter what shoe I have ordered. Their shoes have always fit me perfectly. . . no adjustments required. This hybrid hiker run large and wide. It is a good shoe, but I've had to resort to many added pads plus thicker socks to make this work.
