Sizing is off
I ordered one size larger as everyone recommended. When I tried, they were too snug at the toes but way too large at the heel. It is sad because the shoes seem amazing.

These are fantastic winter boots, but with a few caveats. I wanted something that I could slip on easily, but they're not as easy to put on as they look. The back loop needs to be bigger. You should size up at least a half size as they are snug. They took a couple of wears to break-in and have that level of comfort one would expect from Hoka. They're also heavier than they look. With all of that said, they do their job well: they're warm and waterproof. I feel like I can take on anything winter throws at me.
I wear all kinds of Hoka and I am always size 13…these were too small and didn’t fit. Go up a size always. They are comfortable and warm but do seem a bit wide and clunky at the same time.
I love the way these look, but the fit is very strange. As others have said, the toe box is quite narrow and I found the heel to slip. Ended up returning.
This is everything I expected from Hoka with exception of the fit. It has the durability of the Hoka Trail & Hike shoes. The quality of the manufacturing was good, the wider more volmuouse fit & poor heel counter make the Hoka 2 Frost Moc GTX a 3 of 5 for me. One last thing was the pricing for $300 plus Canadian you can do better width a lower priced winter day time Hiker in my opinion.
Everything is great with the Kaha 2 Frost Moc GTX, but it is more for narrow feet. Oh, and it's a bit on the heavy side, it does not feel like a slipper when walking.
Excellent look tout en restant au chaud !
Satisfied with my purchase. Might be a little over priced. Size up by half a point!
Chaud, gtx et antidérapant. Belle construction et facile à enfiler.
These boots have been a game changer. I wanted something warm, waterproof, and easy to slip on for cold days, and the Kaha 2 Frost Moc has been perfect. They’re incredibly cushioned — classic Hoka — but still stable and supportive enough for longer walks or light trails. The Gore-Tex keeps my feet dry even on slushy Toronto days, and the traction has been great on packed snow. They feel broken-in right out of the box, which I really appreciate. If you’re looking for a winter boot that’s warm without feeling heavy, this is a winner.
