I find the shoe very stable and comfortable to use for use in HIIT classes and normal gym use. For longer runs however, the shoe starts to feel quite firm and isn't as comfortable as shoes more dedicated to this purpose
My first Hoka shoes, love the walking / running comfort from the shape of the foam. You may want a half size bigger, if not almost true to size. The wider version I find are truly true to size.
