  Stylish but high gloss

  This is my first pair of Hunter boots. I've been eyeing these famous boots for a while. Finally decided to purchase when on sale on AS. I find the refined version much more flattering than the original which I was thinking of buying at first. They are slimmer and the toe is also less rounded. They are super shiny when new but the finish wears off quickly. My shoe size is 7-1/2 and I purchased a size 8; they fit perfectly. My problem is I have large calves (15-in cirmcumference) and they are tight. The boots are a bit hard to take off as they are also very tall (I am 5'5'' and they hit just below my knees). Overall I still like them. Very good quality.

  Ces bottes sont plus légères que le modèle original . Elles font un pied plus délicat et un mollet plus fin donc plus élégantes .La taille correspond bien à la grandeur habituelle . Elles sont aussi très belles avec un bas Hunter pour les journées plus froides .

  Really wish my brand new boots did not arrive with hideous white marks all over them. Yes it's bloomage and yes I will clean them off but now I have to go out and buy the hunter spray before I even get to wear my boots?

  Not as slim fit as I expected

  I was so excited to receive my rain "slim fitting refined gloss rain boots" only to be disappointed to find out that the boot was way too wide overall. The circumference of the calf area is as wide as the original hunter boot. The photos on line are misleading. Also, the boots arrived with a white powdery coating which apparently is normal with rubber-not glossy as pictured. However, this is apparently normal with rubber and can be cleaned. On a positive note, altitude's service and timely delivery is stellar!

  Great rain boots

  These are the best Hunters yet. Very sleek and stylish - not bulky like typical rain boots at all. Despite being sleek I can still wear my puffy, warm Hunter down socks with them. I highly recommend them.
