Great but a little small
Comparing this model to the Flash system, I prefer the Flash as it is larger and may be faster. This is a neat little set up if you just want to make a hot drink but for something a bit beefier, I will go with the Flash.

Boil water in 2 mins. Easy to use. Only thing is the lid is not super tight
With this purchase I'm changing stove brands as I've had some issues in the backcountry with another popular brand that wasn't field repairable. I really like the piezo electic lighter on Jetboil stoves as it saves time digging for matches, a lighter, etc. , and you get to have your morning coffee or evening meal just a little bit faster. Impressive boil times, ability to simmer your pasta sauce, and reliabiltity in the field. This is a great personal stove system.
Super rapide et efficace ! Le meilleur format pour mes besoins. Je peux facilement cuisiner pour deux et super léger. Je l’ai utilisé au grand froid sans problème!
I bought this to replace my old Jetboil from 15 years ago. Lightweight and all I need to boil water for food while being way back in the middle of nowhere!
I am quite happy with the size and heating capacity of this stove. I haven't fully put it to the test so far, but at the moment it's good. The ignitor thing doesn't work, but I wouldn't expect it to anyway!
Jetboil is a high quality brand and this is one of their high quality stoves. Compact unit easy to stuff into your pack and when in use, has a great simmer control and boils water fast. If you want a quality unit, this is the right choice.
Originally, I just got the stove to heat water in the back country. However, with everything they supply you with you’re also able to convert the stove over to a traditional camp stove that you can use other (flat bottom) pans with. The stove is built with a flame regulator that allows you to simmer on very low heat as well. Highly recommend
The Jetboil MicroMo has become my favourite backpacking stove on my hikes (150-350kms). I primarily use it to boil water (very quickly) for dehydrated meals, but have on occasion taken advantage of the fact that it can also simmer. A lot of my hikes have been on the coast where I've experienced a wide variety of weather, but I have never been disappointed with this stove. [ I bought this 2nd one at a good price to have as a spare ]
I timed the first few boils and it took longer, by about 15%, so really not bad at all. Faster than other makes and does use less fuel, even at high output. Found it took a few attempts at screwing off the pot from the base to poor.
