  Love that they have a built in sock liner. Lighter waterproof alternative to chunkier hiking boot, but had to return due to sizing

  These look well-made, but to actually get your foot into the small curved opening and get your heel in place is very difficult. I think even if you bought the right size it would take quite a lot of wearing in. However, if you have a narrow ankle this probably could work for you.

  This shoe fits very small. My husband has a few pairs of sportiva shoes in size 42. In these shoes he is a 43. The shoe feels great once the size is dialed in.

  Excellent Waterproof Hiking Shoe

  I haven’t used this for a longer distance hike yet, only about 10k through hilly, technical terrain. Very well-made, high-quality product. I have a medium to just slightly wide foot with a low-volume heel and ankle. La Sportivas fit me very. I usually wear a men’s size 8 US in most of my trail and track running shoes (Nike and On). In La Sportivas, I size up to 8. 5 (41 euro) for a comfortable, but secure and technical fit. Look forward to getting a lot of use out of these hikers. I’ve been very pleased with all of the La Sportivas trail runners I’ve had over the years.

  Excellent speed hiker, doubles as a running shoe.

  This is the shoe that was missing in the La Sportive line-up. The shoe is extremely comfortable with a wide toe-box, is very stable, and while slightly stiffer then the running version, it does offer great cushioning and responsiveness. I particularly like the sock-like upper that really hugs your lower leg perfectly, no debris are getting through that. The outsole has deep lugs and provides very good grip on mixed terrain.
