    A Very Interesting Shoe

This shoe is very different from most cycling shoes on the market, so I was intrigued. The fit is wide (what I was looking for) and comfortable. The straps/buckle system works well to snug the foot in. The outer is almost rubber like? I’m sure would be waterproof and mud proof. The shoe was very hot and not breathable, even just to try on inside the house. I returned them for this reason- it didn’t suit the summer riding I was planning. What I think this shoe would be ideal for: Shoulder season gravel through rough, wet, muddy terrain. Probably good for mountain bike also. What I liked the most about it: The width of the toe box.

Didn’t want black. Should have got black.

Never worn Leatt gravel/mtn shoes before- comfy out of the box the ankle is like a tighter fitting sock, which felt snug for the first few rides but relaxes and is comfortable. The white and green seemed like a good idea bc I wanted something other than black but riding in dirt and gravel - they looked clean for the first 20mins. C’est la vie. As for sizing I measured my foot using the leatt size guide and it was spot on.
