Pre‑Ice Verdict: Promising Build and Secure Fit

  09/16/26

Even without ice testing, the Grip 2 Crampon shows real promise: solid materials, smart cleat distribution, and a comfortable fit. If the on‑ice performance matches the build quality, they’ll be a dependable winter accessory for navigating slippery sidewalks and mild trails.

  Too small

  03/08/26

I wear women’s Size 7 for footwear, and ordered the Size Small crampons according to the sizing chart. The crampons were much too small for my boots (the cleats did not cover the heel). I have returned and ordered Size Medium.

For walking around the neighbourhood, the city, maybe some light hikes, these provide the right amount of traction. You'll want something more aggressive for proper hikes. Taking off a star because the strap doesn't have a secure home and can fall off easily. Luckily they fit snug enough that the strap hasn't been necessary.

  Happy with It.

  01/22/26

They fit on my shoes without much effort. They do exactly what they should (makes my grip on the icy road/walkway stable). I bought the pro version because it has the additional straps, but I find I don’t use or need the straps. The build quality is great and I expect to get several seasons out of them.

  Tiennent bien mais lourds

  12/27/25

Ils tiennent bien et comme les commentaires le disent il faut prendre plus grand que la charte. Au final je ne les ai retournés car je les trouvais trop lourds

  Un MUST

  12/20/25

Pour la marche l’hiver ces crampons sont formidables. Je ne sors pas sans eux! Je les laisse en permanence sur mes souliers de marche. Je porte du 38 et j’ai choisi la grandeur M, c’est parfait.

  Well made and nice fit

these are well made and feel they will last for many seasons. I haven’t tested them out in the snow yet but can tell they’ll provide decent traction for city walks and casual hikes

  Works as intended

Little hard to get on boots when close to the top sizse. But adds much needed grip on slippery services. Not much more it needs to do.

  Good

A nice product, but can be a little difficult to pull over larger boots.
