  Great Jacket!

  I normally wear an XL top and this jacket in XXL fits well. It will leave me room for an extra layer if needed.

  Chaleur et légèreté

  Combinaison idéale de chaleur et légèreté… C’est celui que j’apporte toujours avec moi en Vr… Parfait pour aller prendre un café, faire une petite rando ou sortir les chiens les journées fraîches… Il ne manque qu’un modèle plus aéré et on aurait une couche intermédiaire parfaite.

  Good quality, not very shiny fabric, which I like. It’s light but warm and very good as a car coat. It fits well at the shoulders, and I have large, athletic shoulders, but i find it a little bit long. let’s say 3 inches shorter would have been perfect. I have 1:80m and 90kg for reference.

  I love this jacket. I was specifically looking for a synthetic insulated jacket as my wife is allergic to down. This one suites me perfectly - it is very light, looks and feels slightly “puffy” like down, yet it’s not down. I don’t think it’s as packable as down, but that wasn’t a priority for me. It looks perfectly appropriate in an urban setting or on the ski slopes. Just love it! I’m 160 lbs @ 5’ 9” and medium fits just right.

  Static problems

  Generally speak is good but just too much static when I took off the this featherless hoodie I think this waterproof materials has to figure out how to reduce the static!

  Marmot Avant Featherless Hoody

  This is my second Avant Featherless (I unfortunately had a spill and tore the first pretty bad). It's a great insulated jacket - and given that it’s synthetic continues to provide warmth (and it is warm) in wetter conditions. Its front hand pockets are nice and large and the chest pocket is perfect for cell phones, wallets, etc. The only small drawback would be that there is no cinch on the hood, although the hood does still fit sung. As with all Marmot gear - well made!

  Great quality Featherless Jacket. I found it too long in the sleeves though.
