  Coming from 700x35C Kenda Small Block Eights, the 700x40c Maxxis Re-Fuse is: Heavier More slick Tougher Smoother riding It rides very comfortably, and the rolling resistance is moderate. I've definitely been on faster tires before, but that's not the goal here. I haven't had them long enough to really torture these tires, but so far they certainly feel stiff and strong. If you want all day comfort and peace of mind regarding flats, this is a solid choice.

  Great for gravel bikes

  I love the 700x40C Re-Fuse tire on my gravel bike. Excellent durability and puncture resistance. I've only had one flat in over 15,000 km of riding. One thing I noticed is that the tire has 35-60 PSI written on it, which is lower than the 75 PSI listed in the specs. Overall, highly recommended.
