Very comfortable and packable - watch out for humidity

I used my new Bishop's pass on a few trips now, and varying cold mild temperatures and enjoyed it immensely. My first cold weather trip was around -10° c and I found myself perfectly comfortable in my base layer. By the early morning though the compression the down along the bottom of the sleeping bag reminded me that I needed to up my sleeping pad insulation, as it was getting quite cold. Also, I would recommend throwing a blanket over the top of the sleeping bag as condensation had accumulated on the outer layer. This caused it to get quite damp and took a while to dry. That could also be attributed to poor ventilation in my tent. In any event, I was comfortable to minus 10 for sure, and with some tweaks to my sleep system as well as a few extra layers inside the sleeping bag, I'm sure I'd be good to the minus 18 rated temperature. A great option at a fair price.

    As advertised

Used at -5 without wearing anything special other than a t-shirt and pyjama pants. Didn't feel cold at all.

    Warm but chunky

Love it for my carcamping, keep me warm at some snowy night, but the packed size may be a bit too big and heavy for backpacking
