  Great pot

My old Optimus 8R fits inside nicely. Nice long handle for cooking on a fire

  Great for car camping.

Every 2nd size will fit into each other. Was looking for a car camping kit so everything can be secured whereas weight wasn't too much of a problem. Very well made.

  Good size

Good size, boils fast. We got this one so we can multi purpose it as a fry pan too. Handle hinge bent a little on the first opening, handle isn’t smooth like the pan.

  Solid pot but unfinished handle

  10/20/22

I have the two smaller MSR Alpine Stowaway pots that I really like and wanted to get a larger one. The handles on the two smaller pots are polished stainless steel but the handle on the 1.6L pot I received seemed kind of unfinished, rougher and a darker grey. This isn't a big issue but I decided to go with a different brand pot for a larger size and different style. So I returned mine. Don't let this dissuade you from MSR Stowaway pots though, because the folding handle is really great and saves a lot of space.

This is a great pot for group cooking.

My friend had this pot for the last 10 years and brought it out for all our camping trips. A real work horse! It has lasted and still in great condition. I just bought this because he has moved away so the group needed a pot for cooking. This is a great pot with a well fitted cover and stable folding handle. I expect to get as much cooking joy out of it as we did the previous one!
