Lightning Ascent Snowshoes women's 22 inch

  01/15/24

Fantastic snowshoes! These are a replacement for an older quality brand snowshoe which had many kms on them. The binding was a bit stiff to get into at -20 but once in, my foot was secure and no adjustments were needed. The snowshoes performed exceptionally well in steep terrain with plenty of traction. The heel lifts were a bit high for my liking and I will only be using them in extremely steep terrain. They are exceptionally light and the narrower width allows for a more natural gait. The only issue I have is the price. I waited for a sale to purchase.

GGreat grip, but bindings take some getting used to

  02/14/23

They are very light weight and grip very well, especially downhill. The paragon bindings keep your toes quite far back on the snowshoe. This takes some getting used to after long term use of tbe traditional 3 strap MSR bindings. The women’s model also feels a lot narrower than my older MSR model, the Denali Ascents.

  MSR snowshoe womens 21 in

Very good for hiking in the snow, especially on very steep slopes. I used it on a hike near cypress mountain and many other people who had other brand snowshoes would slip down the hills except for me. I would highly recommend for anyone who likes to hike in the snow. It’s very reliable and durable and is a staple for hikes in Vancouver!!

  Best of the best!

We have Evo 22 snowshoes and were looking to.upgrade this year so went for the top of the MSR line. These snowshoes live up to their name and price. They are more lightweight and efficient than the Evo 22s and are much easier to use on uphill treks. We are very pleased.

  1st pair

  02/08/21

These are my first pair of snowshoes, so I don't have anything to compare to. But I am very happy with this purchase. Gait is not too wide. Fits my wide boots well. Very light.
