Fairly easy to convert to a backpack. Not as comfortable to wear as older models, but I tend to roll the bag for the most part. Adequate volume inside for our trip (3 weeks). Don't care for the small zippered pocket at the top of the bag; can't fit much in it, and it can't be locked like the main compartment of the bag. On the other hand, I love the detachable backpack, but I wish it would zip on as well as clip (like the older models of this bag). Still love the reinforced sides compared to the Ozone model - afraid the Ozone model would rip in airplane cargo.

Extremely well made, light, and functional. Rolls easily. The 28 is too large for to carry in a passenger compartment of a standard jet. If this was a desired a 22 will be a better fit. Both can take a large capacity for trips and comfortable as a pack.
