  Great pack ... and went with just a bit more.

  This pack fit and felt great and provided a great transition from my running vests to a hiking pack with features like front soft flask holders and sternum straps to provide that locked in feel. It provided a ton of storage with waist pockets great for snacks, side pockets great for additional water or pole stashing and a lot of internal storage and stretching back storage. I ordered both the 20L and 30L version while deciding on which pack to use for a planning Camino Portugués 20 day hiking trip - and ultimately decided to go with the larger version. But with minimal differences in the pack features I think I could have managed with the 20L pack just as well.

  Great newly design

  This backpack truly exceeded my expectations and gave me a pleasant surprise. The newly designed external pockets are very convenient. The shoulder straps and the Airscape system are extremely comfortable. The main compartment has a larger capacity than my previous 25L backpack. The hydration bladder can be accessed from the back without opening the main compartment-super handy.

  Has potential

  For me, it just never felt right, and the bottom side strap kept annoying me. Sizing seems to be quite particular with this bad or style of fastpack. I also suspect you’d want to keep the weight down quite a bit in this. Not a bag for me.

  I got this bag for my sister for Kilimanjaro. (I have the talon velocity) she loves it, all the pockets are super convenient, the size is perfect for her!

  Un sac technique!

  Ce sac (Airscape) est conçu pour les sorties intenses, donc près du corps. Les rangements sur le devant, à porté de mains, sont le gros gros plus. Par contre, ces avantages font qu'il est un peu plus chaud. (il faut avouer que je suis habitué aux modèles Airspeed). Le seul commentaire constructif que je ferais est de mieux couvrir le dessus du sac afin d'assurer une meilleur protection contre les intempéries ou bien de le munir d'un Raincover.

  Un peu plus lourd Que la concurence

  L'acces aux affaires est complique car juste par la poche du haut. Aussi si il n est pas plein le confort est limite. En revanche les deux poches pour flasks a l avant sont tops. L'attache des batons sur le cote est agreeable et tres facile d utilisation en marchant. En revanche le sac est un peu plus lourd que ses concurrents. Je recommande quand meme, avec osprey on ne se trompe pas

  Quite nice, but not for me

  Through trail running I fell in love with "vest packs" and this does a great job of putting that concept into a more proper backpack. However, I have a couple dealbreakers: The "top lid closure" system is poorly designed IMO, making the back mesh difficult to access without unclipping, and doesn't close securely when not stuffed. Secondly, and more importantly, I found the vest pockets a bit undersized and not stretchy enough. I use my Salomon ADV Skin 12 and this closely matches it, but the actual material/sizing makes it FAR less usable. I really look forward to an updated version of this bag.

  J'ai acheté le sac pour

  J'ai acheté le sac pour faire de la marche en montagne et j'espérais pouvoir l'utiliser pour la randonnée alpine. Il y a beaucoup de petits espaces/poches pour ranger ses accessoires. J'ai été bien surpris de voir que mon casque de ski tenait bien dans le filet élastique du dessus.

  All the pockets

  I bought this bag for the ease of having the pockets on the front. Easy access to my bear spray is important. I think this is going to be a great day bag for hiking. I have not used it yet but love the way it fits. I do think you would struggle for comfort in colder weather where you might be layered up. Definitely just a summer less layers the better kind of bag. But we will see next year.
