This is a quality pack that should work well for most people. While I am only 5'9" I have a relatively broad shoulders - I find that I need to adjust to the largest size to make this pack work. If you have a wider than average back you may find some squeezing on your upper region. Like any larger hiking bag you want to ensure most weight is on your hips. Kiddo seems to like it. I really like the harness system.
I did a 10K hike with my 2. 5 yr old to test this out. It was easy to strap her while she was wearing her puffer, snow pants and boots. I was easily able to get her and the bag on my back and adjust pack so weight was on my hips. The weight distribution was still pretty high and away from my body so it was a bit tiresome. I’m hoping trekking poles will make this easier next time!

My 1 year old loves riding in it and it fits me great. Very comfortable for hiking and walking the dog.
My daughter loves this carrier : she takes long naps in it. It is also very confortable for the parent and highly adjustable. Would recommend to any parent.

Used it twice already for hiking with fam, the pocket size is big enough to fill 3 water bottles, snacks for the day and a sweater. The quality is top, and baby is super happy!
